cat loft Rules

Our Cat Lofts are designed to provide a quiet, comfortable, and stress-free home away from home. Each guest enjoys their own private cat condo, complete with cozy bedding, climbing opportunities, fresh litter, and plenty of one-on-one attention from our team. Our goal is to make your cat's stay as calm and comfortable as possible.

 

Boarding Requirements

To ensure the health and safety of all feline guests, cats must:

  • Be current on Rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.

  • Be free from contagious illnesses, parasites, and fleas.

  • Be comfortable being handled by our staff.

  • Have completed a successful Trial Night prior to booking extended stays.

 

Trial Night Requirement

Because every cat adjusts differently to a new environment, all first-time boarding guests are required to complete a Trial Night before booking a longer stay.

The Trial Night allows us to:

  • Assess your cat's comfort level.

  • Ensure they are eating, drinking, and using the litter box normally.

  • Monitor stress levels and overall well-being.

  • Determine whether our Cat Lofts are the right fit for your cat.

If we believe a longer stay would not be in your cat's best interest, we'll discuss alternative care options with you.

 

Private Cat Lofts

Every feline guest enjoys their own private loft throughout their stay. Cats are never housed together unless they are from the same household and approved by their owners.

Each condo includes:

  • Comfortable bedding

  • Private litter box

  • Food and water dishes

  • Daily cleaning and sanitizing

  • Vertical climbing and enrichment opportunities

  • Individual playtime and affection based on your cat's comfort level

 

Feeding & Medication

Please provide:

  • Labelled, portioned meals

  • Medications with written instructions

  • Any special dietary requirements

Medication administration is included at no additional charge.

 

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-In

9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Check-Out

4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Late check-outs after 5:00 PM may incur an additional boarding charge. If you require alternate arrival or departure times, please contact us in advance. We'll do our best to accommodate whenever possible.

 

Personal Belongings

You're welcome to send your cat with a familiar blanket, small bed, or favourite toy to help them feel more at home. Please label all belongings.

 

Behaviour Expectations

Cats should be comfortable with routine handling by our staff. While many cats are naturally shy when introduced to a new environment, cats displaying behaviour that poses a safety risk to themselves or our staff may not be suitable for boarding. Our team will always prioritize your cat's comfort and well-being.

 

Emergency Veterinary Care

Should your cat become ill or injured during their stay, we will contact you immediately.

If emergency veterinary treatment is required and we are unable to reach you, Juju's Doghouse is authorized to seek veterinary care on your behalf. All veterinary expenses remain the responsibility of the owner.

 

Boarding Cancellations

To secure your boarding reservation, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% balance will be processed at the time of pick-up. If you need to cancel your reservation, we require at least 72 hours' notice before your scheduled check-in date to receive a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours' notice will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
